This is Christina's (my 7-year old) entry for the TAAFOMFT challenge.
Her favorite food without a doubt are "smoskes", which literally means "making a mess". It consists of putting as much vegetables between two slices of bread ... yummie!!!!
To my great pleasure, Christina really is interested in scrapping. Chloë sometimes scraps along with us, but she's too impatient to really finish a page. Christina however loves it, and I'm sure she'll keep on doing it. The only problem is she doesn't allow any help. She reluctantly listens to suggestions I make, and then she does it her way anyway. I see improvement though, she's stealing with her eyes I guess. And she's just like me, very careful with her stuff, every stamp and brush is cleaned right after use LOL, unlike her big sister, who thinks the fairies will come to clean everything up LOL.
Anyway, this is her entry ... I'm sorry to say mine will be finished too late. I had a huge problem with this challenge, I don't have any particular fav food, I love all of it LOL, especially if it's bad for the figure ... sounds familiar????
I haven't had time to scrap lately. I've just finished painting my son's room, and I'm still working on arranging all of his stuff into his new bedroom. I did have some time to scrap, but I just wasn't in the mood ... I don't know what's wrong with me!!!!! Ah well, I'm sure this won't last long, and in the meantime I'm having fun catching up on all of your blogs.
Talk to you later my friends.
xxx Peggy

Great page Christina. lol Peggy you may have to start hiding your scrappy stash soon.
ReplyDeleteHey Peggy -
ReplyDeleteI am always excited when my kids want to play along, although I also often kick them out because time in my "studio" is me time. My 2 y.o. today was so disappointed to be left out of it. Good thing the attention span is so short - she was off and playing before too long. :) My 10 y.o. is crafty in her own way but rarely organizes her efforts into scrapbooking. She is my ally in collecting all sorts of trinkets, though!
Thanks for adding Gauche Alchemy to your blog roll - so excited to be among the excellent people you've listed there. Hope to see you on the blog!
Amy

Wat leuk dat je dochters ook scrappen.
That's wonderful that she loves to scrap! It will be something the two of you can share together as she grows up. I know about not having time either.....we just redid our son's bedroom too! Paint, new shelves, and throwing lots of stuff away or donating. : ) (BTW, your daughter's LO is very cute!)

Hi Peggy, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and checking on me! Your daughter's layout is adorable and it must be so nice to scrap together. I remember when my DD was around 10 or 11 and she started scrapping with me and then she lost interest when she turned 12. Sigh. It was good while it lasted though so enjoy the special time! And I'm like you, I don't know what food I would pick if I could only pick one??
ReplyDeletepegs, LEAVE HER ALONE!!! how old is she?!?!? and she's ALREADY doing her thing? don't stifle, edith!!!! i think we might need to have her as a guest designer!!!
